My sweet Buster is with his sweet sister Katie up in doggie heaven now. Buster was my first dog. I drove to Longview, TX to pick him up from a shelter. He spent the whole ride home in my lap. He was a true terrier and his own dog. I will share one memory I have of him that sums up his personality perfectly. It was about to storm and we were all in the living room watching TV when the wind suddenly pushed the front door open with a bang.  All of us jumped back in fear (it was sudden and loud) but not Buster. He was terrified of thunder all his life (literally shook with fear every time it stormed) but he jumped right out in front of us all, our fearless protector, and faced the thunder monster at the front door with a glorious round of barks.  My brave and protective Buster. I will miss you forever, B. <3

2 years...

2 years and I still miss my sweet girl dog. I still feel guilty about the way it ended for her. Sweet Katie.

I still miss you, girl.

Life is hard and sometimes the only thing that makes me happy are puppy dog hugs.

Four months ago tomorrow since we lost our sweet little peanut.

Sleep tight, sweet Katie.

Yesterday was 7 weeks since you left us. I sure do miss my sweet peanut. I hope you're having sweet dreams.
